| Designer's Work | |||||||
Jane Dillon (nee Young) was born in 1943. She studied interior design at Manchester Regional College of Art (1962-65) and furniture design at the RCA in London (1965-68). After working for Ettore Sottsass for Olivetti in Milan she set up a studio in London in the early 1970s with Charles Dillon. Their work of that period was highly influential particularly in the field of office seating and domestic lighting. Examples include the Cometa light now being produced by Santa Cole, the Actis and Jobber office chair collections for Casas, Barcelona. Her work has been widely published in many design books and magazines world wide.
