Ole Palsby
Designer's Work
The Danish top designer Ole Palsby from Copenhagen is entirely self-trained. He began his design career as the owner of a shop selling household goods. The shortcomings of some of the products made him think of new aesthetic possibilities in this area, with great success! Today, Ole Palsby is one of the most respected designers in the world and some of his creations, like the Alfi Spherical jug, are even on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. He has won top design awards. Ole Palsby describes his philosophy in the following words: "I firmly believe that basic shapes are present in our subconscious. The simplicity of the sphere gives pleasure. Classic forms will always be in demand."
