The Kartell Masters chair is a powerful tribute to three classic 20th century chairs. The "Series 7" by Arne Jacobsen, the "Tulip Armchair" by Eero Saarinen, and the "Eiffel Chair" by Charles Eames. The outlines of these three chairs can be seen in the interwoven shapes of the Masters chair. On its four slim legs, the Masters chair is roomy and comfortable. The special finishing on the chair gives it a sensuous feel. The back of the chair is its most distinctive feature characterised by the by the curving criss-crossing lines of the three different iconic chair backs, which descend to meet together at the seat edge. The Masters is light, practical, comes in various colours, and can be stacked and used outside as well. The seat height is 46cm. Save money by buying a box of four.
The Masters chair was honoured with the prestigious "2010" Good Design Award" presented by the Chicago Athenaeum - Museum of Architecture and Design.
